GRANVILLE, Ohio — Jim Clary, who drives a school bus and trains other drivers at his district, will now also serve as a state of Ohio CDL examiner, the Granville Sentinel reports.

In addition to his driving and training duties at Granville Exempted Village Schools, Clary will test new truck and bus drivers at a CDL site.

Granville Transportation Supervisor Kim Clary, who is Jim’s wife, told the news source that while her husband can still train and recertify the district’s drivers, he can’t test them: “It would be a conflict of interest.”
