Student Transportation of America's Pamela Layral has become the latest industry professional to earn the Special Needs Transportation (SNT) Training Endorsement.

Layral, training supervisor at the school bus contractor's location in Riverside, Calif., attended the courses for the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) program at the Transporting Students With Disabilities & Preschoolers conference earlier this year.

Transportation personnel who want to increase their knowledge on serving students with disabilities can access the SNT educational opportunities at local and national conferences.

The program has a core curriculum of six special-needs courses in a variety of settings, including a school bus roadeo and a trade show of school transportation products and services. The core curriculum is supplemented by two courses of elective instruction from the NAPT Professional Development Series program.
