NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two teenagers were charged with reckless endangerment after they allegedly fired air-powered replicas of a handgun and a rifle at a school bus on Wednesday.

Authorities said that the bus driver called police after seeing two teens standing in a wood line nearby carrying realistic-looking handguns.

An officer followed footprints in the wooded area to a residence, where 19-year-old Seth Cook and his 15-year-old friend were arrested.

Police said that Cook and his friend admitted that they shot the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools bus.

In addition to reckless endangerment, Cook is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
