FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A duck crashed through the window of a school bus here on Tuesday morning, WTVD reports.

The bus was on its way to an elementary school when the bird smashed through the reinforced glass and struck the driver in the chest.

The driver suffered some scratches. The duck survived and was taken away by a North Carolina Wildlife Resources officer.
