INO, Wis. — On Christmas day, a developmentally disabled man who has maintained a lifelong love of school buses received a newly retired bus from his brother as a gift, the Duluth News Tribune reports.
Joey Moravchik, 40, wanted to be a bus driver when he grew up, but his learning disability prevented him from doing so. Moravchik's brother, Jeff, purchased a bus for him from Lake Shore Buses in Ashland, Wis., parked it behind the silo on their parents' farm and surprised him with it on Christmas morning.
Moravchik now practices driving the bus around the hayfield on the family's farm.
