The move represents the completion of a long-term succession strategy for the maker of Dossier fleet asset maintenance management software.

Jack Boetefuer has been named the new CEO of Arsenault Associates. He joined the company in 2004.

Jack Boetefuer has been named the new CEO of Arsenault Associates. He joined the company in 2004.

Boetefuer joined Arsenault in 2004 as vice president of sales and business development. He took over day-to-day operations in 2006 when he was named president in the first step of a planned transition.

According to the company, Boetefuer revised and fine-tuned Arsenault's business model while assembling a team of fleet management experts and marketing, development, sales and tech support staff to improve the company's ability to support customers and aggressively grow the business.

"Charlie had incredible insight and vision when he founded Arsenault Associates in 1979 to provide management expertise and technology to a desperately underserved fleet maintenance sector," Boetefuer said. "He put us and our customers on a path for mutual success going forward."

Arsenault said that "stepping back is much easier when you can follow a well-planned path, and when you have a strong successor. ... The company has been greatly strengthened by Jack's leadership over the last eight years."

Arsenault will remain involved with the company as a management consultant, strategic advisor and occasional spokesperson.

"Looking back, I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved," the company founder said. "Looking forward, the future is bright."
