WEST CHESTER, Ohio — Troy Evans, a former NFL and University of Cincinnati football player, consulted with industry experts to form his own private bus company called LBS Bus Service.

Evans created the company to help the approximately 9,000 students from Lakota Local Schools who will lose bus service next year due to budget cuts, WLWT reports. Evans said the service will cost about $10 per week for each student.

Evans has already begun purchasing buses. Drivers will be screened, and all of the district's rules and guidelines will be followed.
