Alabama student arrested for bringing handgun on bus

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — A student from Baldwin County High School was arrested by Bay Minette Police last week after he brought a handgun onto a school bus. He reportedly showed the firearm to middle school students while on the bus.

The students who saw the gun reported the incident to police, BaldwinCountyNow.com reports. Police arrested the student and confiscated the handgun.

The student, who was suspended after the incident, faces possible expulsion.

    It's not just about securing the gun....when are parents going to teach gun safety. If you feel like you need to keep guns in the house, you should certainly teach everyone what the dangers are.
