ALPHARETTA, Ga. — 247Security Inc. is offering training for its new TouchDown system with the TouchDown Training Camp.

Stopping in 23 cities and towns, the program will be presented to school bus professionals interested in improved video management aimed at creating safer operations while lowering costs.

The costs associated with video management and GPS applications led 247Security to develop TouchDown, a comprehensive wireless management system that brings video, GPS and elements of driver training together in one desktop application.

The integration of G-Force in the solution further lowers costs at a time when budgets are stretched, according to the company.

Jim Black, former director of a large school bus fleet, sees the return on investment in TouchDown. "TouchDown will save staff time immediately. Combining GPS with video will allow districts to have the best of both worlds at an affordable price," he said.

Rick Oram, director of engineering at 247Security, has been instrumental in the early pre-launch rollouts of TouchDown. "Early adopters are impressed with the speed of download and the ability to manage the onboard digital recorder without going to the bus. Being able to assess the health of the unit from your desk provides great peace of mind with little effort," he said.
