CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A school bus driver detained a 19-year-old man on Tuesday who was a suspect in two unsuccessful burglary attempts.

Yesterday morning, a neighbor noticed a man breaking into a home and called authorities. Deputies found that someone had broken into the residence and fled, Chattanooga Times Free Press reports.

Witnesses provided the suspect’s description to the deputies. A short time later, the school bus driver caught a man breaking into his bus and called the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office while detaining the suspect, spokeswoman Janice Atkinson told the newspaper.

Deputies who responded to the call from the bus driver discovered that the suspect in that crime fit the description of the suspect from the earlier burglary.

Cordarrius Bonner has been charged with aggravated burglary, vandalism and burglary of an auto, as well as being in possession of other property that was suspected to be stolen, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
