WOODSFIELD, Ohio — Officials at Switzerland of Ohio Local School District are investigating an incident involving a boxed set of knives on one of the district’s school buses.

According to a story on wtov.com, district Superintendent Larry Elliot said that the knives were part of a cutlery set that was being sold for a school booster’s fundraiser.

The knives were delivered to one of the district’s high schools, and some were sent home with students on the bus.

The merchandise has since been accounted for and there were no injuries. The school will reportedly not be conducting similar fundraisers in the future.
