WEST ELKHART, Ind. — Charlie Warr, a school bus driver for Baugo Community Schools, is hoping to reduce disruptive student behavior on school buses with the help of a book she’s written called Kids On Board

“The idea and purpose behind the book is to reinforce positive behaviors for all children that ride school buses,” Warr told WSBT.

Kids On Board is geared toward students in preschool through third grade. Per Warr’s vision, the book would be sponsored by local businesses, whose ads would be placed inside. Those books would then be provided free to schools that would use them.

Baugo Community Schools has not yet endorsed the program, according to WSBT. School officials need to review it and decide if they want to implement it.
