KILLEEN, Texas — A 9-year-old student was abducted on Dec. 10 while walking to a school bus stop. She was later found near a local road and transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Police are still looking for her kidnapper, who is described as a light-skinned Hispanic or Caucasian male with a rough complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a military ACU tan digitized combat uniform at the time of the kidnapping and has dark hair in a buzz cut style. He may have an accent.

According to KWTX, investigators are comparing this kidnapping to one that took place in October. An 11-year-old girl was abducted on her way to a school bus stop and forced into a black two-door car. She was then sexually assaulted and released near the area where she had been kidnapped.

The Killeen Independent School District sent a letter home to parents following the recent abduction. School officials urged students to walk in groups or with parents to and from the bus stops, and to stay away from strangers and unfamiliar vehicles.
