AUGUSTA, Ga. — An 18-year-old student was recently arrested after she boarded a school bus with a box cutter. She has been charged with possession of a weapon in a school zone and making terroristic threats.

Kourtney Lashea Joe told authorities that she was planning to confront a 12-year-old girl with the box cutter, The Augusta Chronicle reports. Joe was unable to do so before the bus driver contacted the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

No one was injured in the incident and it is unclear whether Joe brandished the box cutter while on the bus.
