Espar Heater Systems has announced an extended service coverage for the E-Guardian family of fuel-operated heaters.  E-Guardian heaters are designed specifically for school bus customers.

Espar will extend the current two-year warranty to a full three-year/2,000 hours at no additional charge to the customer.  During this time of financial crisis with many school budgets, Espar said it recognized the need for school districts and bus contractors to control costs.

The entire E-Guardian family of heaters has earned EPA validation specifically for school bus use and has also earned California Air Resources Board (CARB) approval, which is the industry standard to assure ultra low emissions and fuel consumption.

The following models are available for school bus applications to provide engine pre-heat and supplemental heat:  E-Guardian 5, 8, 10 and 12 which produce from 17,600 to 42,000 BTUs.  Air heater models D2, D4 and D5 are often used for special-needs buses.  One E-Guardian model is designed to operate on 100-percent BIO-fuel, and several others are suited for high-altitude operation.

Customers who purchase Espar E-Guardian heaters delivered from March 1, 2010, through December 31, 2011, should register their heaters to validate this extended warranty coverage.  Registration can be completed online at www.espar.com.
