ALBANY, N.Y. — The National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) is calling on industry officials to submit workshop/presentation proposals for the 2010 NAPT Summit, to be held Oct. 30 to Nov. 4 in Portland, Ore.

The proposals should feature practical information and advice, but they can also be based on formal papers or research. All proposals must be specifically tailored to meet the administrative or operational needs of pupil transportation professionals.

Winning proposals and speakers will be featured alongside nationally recognized professional speakers at the summit, which attracts nearly 2,000 pupil transporters from around the world.

Proposals must be received no later than April 15. Selected entrants will be invited to participate in the conference no later than June 1.
