ROME, N.Y. — Leonard Bus Sales Inc. (LBS) will celebrate the opening of a new bus service facility in the Griffiss Business and Technology Park here on June 3 with an open house and a ribbon cutting.

The 19,250 sq.-ft. facility offers a complete line of warranty and retail repair services. It includes 10 fully equipped service bays, two vehicle lifts, a complete parts distribution center, administrative and conference areas and a staff of fully trained service technicians managed by longtime LBS employee Mark Ingham.

“This is our latest investment in providing best in class services to our customers in central New York,” LBS President Michael Leonard said. “Service after the sale is one of the most important elements of a bus purchase, and the new facility allows us to provide the support that is expected by our growing number of customers in the area.”

LBS is headquartered in Deposit, N.Y. It is an authorized distributor for IC Bus, International Truck and Engine Corp., Girardin Minibus Inc., Federal Coach and Champion Bus Inc. The company has nearly 40 years of experience in the pupil transportation industry.
