TORRANCE, Calif. — On Monday, SCHOOL BUS FLEET parent company Bobit Business Media held its annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in its editorial, graphics, sales, support services and Web departments. SBF Associate Editor Kelly Roher won the prize for Best Feature for her article, “Tackling School Bus Bullying,” which was featured in the November 2007 issue.

In preparing the article, Roher spoke with pupil transportation professionals, behavior specialists, representatives from non-profit organizations and other experts in order to discover specific solutions to address the pervasive problem of bullying among students on the bus.

Roher’s award represents the second consecutive year that SBF has won the Best Feature award at Bobit. Executive Editor Thomas McMahon’s article, “Bus Empty?: Solving the Stranded-Pupil Problem,” from the August 2006 issue, won the award last year.
