New edition of special-needs transportation manual available

NAPT offers the fourth edition of Transporting Children with Disabilities, which contains resources to help pupil transporters meet the needs of students with various disabilities. It is also designed to serve as the curriculum for a special-needs certification course.

Illinois district to receive $60K in Zonar equipment

Freeport School District #145 was selected to receive a grant to fund more than $60,000 worth of Zonar Systems equipment to outfit the district's entire school bus fleet. The grant was awarded through a partnership with the National Association for Pupil Transportation.
