2019 Blue Bird Vision
VIN 1BAKGCSAXKF350323
Ricon VIN RIS5510-F1020100A
Lift works except for stowing, if you lightly lift up on ramp it will stow no issues(and when I say lightly I mean lightly not pushing up on it)
Removed cover and the cam is tight and the micro switches are working all pulleys are free and cables is mint
Unit has only been in service for month nothing bent

If you take the cover off of the tower and expose the pump, there is a pressure soilend that my have a black knurled nut on it held on by two set screws. Loosen the set screws and turn the nut until the lift stows by itself. https://www.riconcorp.com/pdfs/32dskl02/32dskl02A.1.pdf page 2-16 -2-18

If you can't copy and paste the link go to ricon service manuals for S/K series lifts. They are free

While we are the subject of lifts, I have the same lift, and it bleeds off after it has been stowed. Going down the road, it will bleed off and start hitting the window on the door. Just sitting in the lot, it will bleed off....any ideas?

I have never had a Ricon do that but had several Braun lifts that would bleed down. The ones that weren't leaking externally had bad manual pump valves. We also found some of the drivers were using the manual pump and not closing the bleed valve all the way, causing it to bleed off.

I have seen this with a ricon lift but it was old and rebuilt cylinders fixed the issue
this bus was also a dirt road bus (70% of its run was dirt roads) and lift was about 5 years in service before this started
but you see fluid on ram of cylinder

Your lift should not bleed down at all but if it does the STOW-LOC should stop it from hitting the window or door. You need to look into this as well..
