My IT person has my laptop because I couldn't read a disc . Came in yesterday and asked me about giving me a new laptop with a newer version of windows . I told him my Service maxx , Allsion and Wabco brake programs need windows XP to work . Well he almost passed out to think anybody was still using Windows XP . Has any one been able to operate these programs with newer window programs ?

Our laptop is Windows 7 with Cummins Insite, both Service max, Allison, Meritor and we had CAT earlier running on it but we don't have CATS anymore so don't have the program.
We still have an old laptop with XP for Internationals Service Assistance which I definitely like better but it isn't current enough for most of our IH.
I am guessing anything we have running on our Windows 7, will run on Windows 10?

Yes all the programs will run on windows 10. You just have to go through the trouble of calling them all to move your licences over. I hate that part.

i have mostly IC buses and i have a version of NEDS that the dealership sold me because the pocketmaxx i have would no longer be updated.
the problem i have with the program is the inability to set or change parameters, even as something simple as bus speed. And the NEDS will not recognize a bus under the 2007 year model.
I have a nickname for this version of NED, i call it "neutered NED

Go onto the international website to download Servicemaxx, https://www.navistarservicesoftware.com. It should be free now, and it is for 2007 and older. As for NED, I am able to get into and change a lot of engine parameters including road and cruise speeds, idle times, and high idle settings.

InSite won't even run on XP anymore. We've got Win7 Professional throughout our school district.

I use 7Pro at work and 10 at home. I'm liking 10 much better than the original 8 that came with my laptop! They've tried to make it much closer to 7/XP, it seems.
