We have a 2000 Navistar with a Thomas body that has the "Lollipop" turn indicators on the fenders. One is "on" with headlights, the other one is not. Both work properly with Hazards or turn signals on. My question is are they supposed to be on with parking / headlights on or not? Thank you.

They they are amber front and back, yes, they were intended to be marker lights. If they are amber front, red rear, then by FMVSS they may not be used as marker lights.

Assuming its not the bulb, I'd unplug the plug at the bottom and see it's all corroded up.

I suppose if there's corrosion, that means splicing in a different connector then?

Yeah, any maybe a new light fixture depending on how bad it is. Seems like when I have to change a pigtail on a 3800, I had to change the light too.

I found a bad splice where the new pigtail had been spliced in. Thank you once again.
