I have 3 TC 2000's and in the time I have been here never worked right. They have a 5.9 Cummins and in the 3 years I have been here they don't work right . The fuel guage will drop to empty then all the way to full . Oil gauge will drop to zero and then peg out the same with coolant and trans temp . The buses were spares but are now used all the time . Is it a simple task of replacing the guages . I don't think it's senders since they all 3 do the same thing .Does Bluebird have a program like IC pull the panel and send it for repair ? Wire issue ? Anybody run across this problem ? Thanks |

Are these the individual VDO gauges or the single cluster? Both were garbage but VDOs are readily available from bird. Sounds like they typical failures they have.
I have NAPA numbers for a mechanical oil pressure gauge that I'll post tomorrow. |

What's your body numbers? If you post them I can look them up on Parts123 and give you the Blue bird numbers. |

Assuming this is a 2000-2005 model bus, there's the info I've got:
0014497 fuel 0014501 oil pressure 0014500 coolant temp 0014494 voltage 0014493 amp 0014490 speedo (requires programming by dealer, need body #, current tire size, odometer reading)
Oil gauge mechanical retrofit, same manufacture, same panel cutout, very similar in looks:
Napa#'s
701-1709 gauge 701-2153 install kit
Remove sending unit for old gauge and tap line in here. It's in the frame rail, alongside engine, right side, if memory serves. Usually 2 sensors there, 1 for alarm 1 for gauge. |

Valleybusman,
Those are the correct numbers for your buses. BlueBird parts says your have a 2002 TCFE 7800 bus. |
