I have a 2012 IC bus and the passenger top windows are all coming unglued from the frame. Am I the only one? What a PIA... suggestions on how to repair.
One of many common IC problems. IC part number is 2234043C2 per side. You could try to make your own. Oh and they are pricy. Just one of many reasons why we DON'T buy IC buses anymore. It doesn't get any better with newer years either.

One of our 2016 did this and it was caused by a screw not installed in the proper hole.
It's not just a "screw in the wrong hole" problem. We have almost 200 of these and have been through many slides. The IC mobile techs that come to the shop say it's an issue and that they carry at least 30 slides on their trucks. We are working on a fix we hope will work. I'll certainly post back if we do.
Those little Bast@rds aren't cheap either. Since 5/15/2015 we have spent $1835.20 on the slides in parts costs. You figure at least 30 minutes per window to replace.
Been meaning to report back...no problems on the 3 new buses with new window design. I'm still not impressed with the pushout window latches, but the overall window performance is great. One of these is a handicap bus so it'll get the tar beat out of it...that's going to be the real test bus!
The regular windows have been awesome. We have two of the emergency windows acting up. What I didn't realize when I said I wasn't impressed with the emergency window latches was that the red handles are not the actual latch anymore.
The red handle actuates a sliding latch on the window frame up and down, and this sliding latch has 2 or 3 "hooks" that engage with the actual window. Slider up, window latched shut. Slider down, window unlatched. I need to get pics to explain better...I'll do that. Seems like a good setup but on two of them the handle has gotten very hard to lift unless you open the window and pull inward on the window to relieve pressure from the slider.
Dealer contacted engineering and one of the two affected buses go back to the dealer on Monday. Will update this again for those interested.
