service max was replaced by "NED" navistar engine diagnostics i ordered it and downloaded it to our laptop. from what i can tell it works just the same as service max but does not recognize the older engines only seems to work with maxxforce. anyone else use it yet and can help me in case i have messed up somehow?

So NED is to replace the 1939 side and we continue to use the 1708 for older engine?

I miss when 1 program did all Navistar engines.

I'm switching today. I take it snap-on is not the vendor any longer.

I've kept all my Master Diagnostic programs for the older engines. I sure wish the new software would incorporate a click feature for the trouble codes.

What is everyone running this software on?? Anyone know of a GM and Ford based diagnostic software that runs on a laptop? Cables might be another issue??

Ugh!! I hate to even think about this!! I have tried to put it off for a couple years but its almost a have to now.
