We just replaced the turbo on the exact bus for the same reason. International recommends replacing the crank case breather after replacing the turbo to avoid an engine running away. Not sure why the engine runs away after replacing a turbo but I guess they're right. We replaced it and haven't had a problem.
yeah idk about the ford motor in a school bus we demod one i wasnt impressed and the fuel mileage is terrible isnt it like 4 or five miles to the gallon ???????
We have a demo coming to us next week. Yeah I heard the fuel mileage isn't great but I think it'll pay off in the low cost of maintenance and repairs. And probably less time in the shop.
