a little stumped I have a bus that builds to 120 psi and cuts out and as you let it sit goes down to 115 and builds back up and cuts out again it does this repetitively ***I do know this means its a supply side leak or issue as ive had this many tims in the past but have always been able to locate the leak and everytime have been able to hear the leak clear as day --ive checked and sprayed everything I know and replaced the unloader valve in the dryer and installed a new fitting that was leaking slightly to no avail **im curious what else could cause this internal dryer o -ring issue , governor ?? any help much appreciated --ive sprayed checked lines fittings at governor and top supply copper line and fittin at compressor and so on
Thanks for the replies I did change the purge valve already a but this am installed a new governor it did change what psi it kicked air back up to cut out the old would cycle at 117 or so but the air pressure was still going down - the fix ended up being the fittings 2 of them were leaking on the shutterstat actutuator and solenoid noticed with key off no leaks but had air to them when running and fittings would leak could not hear when running had to spray to find them guess I should have put fe in the description
I had a similar sounding problem one time. I found the supply line feeding the drier had broke down internally, from oil moisture etc. I replaced the line and it has been okay ever since. The leak was so small that it could not be heard or produce any bubbles with spraying it down. Let us all Know what you find out, as I am curious if this is your problem. Good luck on finding out the cause.

Yes Brian my foreman suggested the same thing so i took the line from governor to drier down and applied air and plugged it found no leaks at all though i replaced it anyways .*** The issue was still there after ** ---the*** Fix was the fittings at the shutterstat actuator and interlock were leaking ****once i replaced them leak stopped , makes sense in hind sight the leak was only present with bus on and running and would stop with key off ....
