i just finished putting egr coolers on this bus had it running outside and code 2175 popped up vgt performance the diagnostic tree said possible cause open or shorted CANH circuit what is this?????

CAN is you control area network wiring. Like you J1939 and J1708. It sends the data back and forth from ECM to various components, like the VGT.
Since you just did egr coolers you might want to check you wiring at your turbo actuator.

Could be that coolant ran through the turbo and gummed up the vanes. Had a Maxxforce DT that lost a cooler and we ended up replacing a turbo as well.

i did a bounce test on the turbo and the lever was really tight worked it a few times and i freed up check engine light went out so i am guessin a turbo rebuild is in the near future

I would open that turbo and clean it out. lots of times coolant get in there and causes all sorts of problems.
