| Hello there, we at our camp grounds have 2 of these buses, 1 is a 1990, the other a 91, the 91 is running excellent but the 90, which is the same setup minus different wheels, a 4-speed with 2-speed rear-end, where as the 91 has simply a 5-speed in it. The 90 I'm stuck on getting to run, I got it to run a while back, drove it into town, it died, restarted then had to keep my foot in it to keep it running, then it died again, and wouldn't restart, until letting it sit a half hour or so, I'm very suspicious that it's the PROM in the PCM/ECM because when this happens, a light on the dash flashes over rev/over speed, it misfires, I can keep it running sometimes, but after the third time or so, it dies and refuses to restart. I'll add while this happens, each time it flashes/misfires, and no way in hell this 366 is being over revd when it died after idling on it's own for say 20 seconds. Question is anyone have a differing opinion? or know where I can pick up a prom from? I've replaced the computer, but haven't been able to find a prom for it, and of course there are probably a dozen or 2 different ones. |
