I am curious for all you bluebird guys...
The OE air filter is part number 087782 and it has the thick rubbery top so the clamps are extremely tight when locked on the lid. The WIX number is 49519 and it has the metal lid and the clamps are more loose when clamped down on it. Should i be concerned about the WIX and just stay with the Bluebird filter, or will a WIX be sufficient?

We run a Baldwin RS5458. No problems.

BB redesigned the filter some time ago and didn't renumber it (weird, since they renumber parts all the time), and the aftermarket kept the old design. We just bent the clamps down to keep the Wix tight. Much more cost effective than purchasing the BB!
