have 2010 conventional blue bird. driver broght it in this morning with brake lights not working. ive changed the relay and have ppower to it and on all spots needed when foot is on brake pedal. ive traced wires fro multi plex to the gauge cluster and have not found broke wire anywhere and have also removed bulbs indiviualy to see if had a bad socket. any help would be appreciated.
Do you have inputs and outputs on the multiplex? Do you have the information needed to use the diagnostic button on the multiplex to know what you are looking for?
If they are like the newer ones that use the CVC controlled then you would need a manual on how to work the button for the lights on that module, then follow the logic lines in the book. Again, not sure what the 2010's use.
everything kept leading back to the relay. went and got another relay and swapped it out and working fine now guess we got a bad one from parts store. thanks for help!!!
We recently bought a relay tester for our shop. First time messing with it, I pulled a brand new relay out of the box and tested it, no good. I thought I wasn't using the tester correctly, but the relay was indeed bad.
