At some point in the several conversations we've had on here about propane, someone ask about fuel pressures in the rail. Went to a class yesterday and learned there are two ways to get the pressure at the rail. It can be taken with a gauge that has the same fitting as the old R-12 A/C gauges or if you have Ford diagnostics on your computer it'll show rail pressure. The catch here is you need to know tank pressure because rail pressure has to be 30 to 50 psi over tank pressure. Tank pressure can be obtained by using the same R-12 fitting on the bleeder port on the tank or there is a more complicated way to get it, by bleeding rail pressure off and then opening the tank valve without turning on the fuel pumps. This would make the rail pressure be very close to tank pressure.
That's a good idea! I would think you might be a degree or two off though measuring from the outside but maybe not either. I know it warms up as you drive because it recirculates.
