On some of our new IC buses, the red 8 ways shut off immediately when the door closed switch is pressed. On all of our older ones and some of our new ones, they do not go off until the 8 ways are turned off via the steering wheel switch. Is there a way to change this parameter with Diamond Logic Builder? The drivers prefer them to go off via hitting the switch to turn them off, not when the door closes. This way, they can shut the door to keep the cold out while kids are getting seated. |

Could you post the VIN of a bus that performs as desired? |

Well crap...I was hoping I could find a certain feature code to point you in the right direction, but I don't see a darn thing on that bus that specifically says it makes it behave that way.
Anybody else? |

There was a terminal on the old Weldon units that you had to connect to that says "flash red only after amber" or "flash red when door is open". Wonder if it's as simple as changing connection? |

I believe there is a feature that can be changed in servicemaxx. I can check a 2013 on monday and see if I can find something. |

Can they manually activate the reds using the steering wheel switch? On my buses, manually activated reds can't then be overridden by the door switch.
Ambers on, Reds on, door open, door closed, reds off.
Your State may have different rules and sequences for 8-lights... |

That is the same sequence this bus is doing, but most of our other new IC buses have it to where you can close the door and the reds not turn off, then turn them off manually with the steering wheel switch. |

If you don't shut them off with the steering wheel switch do they shut off when the bus starts moving? We have a couple with the steering wheel switches that shut off after you start to pull away. One of them will not let the ambers come on unless you're under 45 MPH. I had that bus for a year, and no I didn't like that system.

I'm not sure about that, I've never checked to see. I'll ask some of my drivers and see if they can tell me. |

I have a 2014/15 IC with led 8 ways. The left front and rear reds will glitch after a second or two. The. The only ones working are the right side..I have checked the connectors at the bcm, lights etc.. I feel like the bcm is the problem.. |
