I have a 2001 Blue Bird A3RE with the 5.9 cummins. The wait to start light never comes on and it is hard to start when it is cold. Does not appear that the grid heaters are doing anything. I'm not really sure where to look now? Where do the wires going to the solenoids come from? A control module or directly from the ECM? Any ideas? I just find it strange that the wait to start light doesn't even illuminate.

One of the larger terminals should have battery voltage at all times. The smaller ones I believe come from the ECU reading coolant temperature.
