I have an AT545 behind a DT408. I want a MT643 with lockup or a stick with overdrive. I have a rebuilt Spicer 6453 5 spd manual with a .78 overdrive. I am not sure how difficult that swap would be. I have never replaced an auto with a manual before. I would appreciate any input.

Not sure how to post a picture of my bus.

I understand the drive shaft needs to be modified.

I would be more concerned with clutch pedal and linkage, speedo hookups. And parking brake cabling if its a hydraulic brake bus.

Best scenario would be having a donor parts bus at your disposal.
