I have a V-10 that's throwing an oil pressure code. My pressure (per the computer) is 51.1 psi & the gauge says normal. No luck changing the sender. Any ideas?

Not a separate pressure switch for oil pressure is there? I've had some (diesels) with one for the gauge and one for the alarm. Once had a mystery alarm condition that turned out to be an unidentified piece of trash randomly blocking the sensor. That was fun.

I don't think so. I know what you're saying though. I think there are two on the 3126 Cat. After I posted the original message I started it to move it out of the shop to work on another bus. This time the light stayed off. So, I'm thinking this is because of something tech service told me about the computer having to see a good signal three times. Anyway, I decided to turn it over to the driver and see what happens. No luck, as soon as he started it the light comes on. ARGH!

I think I've got it figured out. I was reading the codes through the J1939 and I was suppose to be hooked up to the OBDII connector. Code points to an O2 sensor.

Well, I replaced the O2 sensor but the code is still active. I'm thinking my Pro-Link isn't reading it correctly. May have to take to a Ford dealer. Any ideas out there?

Write into your specs that warranty work transport is the dealers responsibility.

Never thought of that. Humm, wonder how that affects the price of the bus?

Bryan,
This is exactly what I have in my specs.

57. Warranty
All warranty work shall be done by the dealer on our premises or the dealer is responsible for transporting bus to and from the dealers repair facility.

Interesting. How far are you from your dealer?
Thanks for the information and the interest.
