Does anyone have any information on "tip bars" for wheel chairs. Were supposed to get training on them next week and was told we were supposed to be using them all along on the wheel chairs for student transportation. Is this a mandatory requirement for bus transport? In 15 yrs working on buses never heard or seen that item. Thanks

Hi, I have come across "tip bars" while I'm browsing the internet. According to what I have read online, Some requires a mandatory use of tip bars to provide ease of operation provisions for wheelchair users.

Hi, yes I have read its mandatory and I think, it must be for the safety of those with special needs.
