Had an o ring blow out on a king pin grease cap on an 8,000 pound front axle on a C2. Any tips on re installing the cap with the new o ring? I have tried grease, oil and silicon spray and have damaged 3 new o rings in the process..... |

Its an Axle Alliance Company axle, a Freightliner company. Have not found anything helpful online yet. I am not a fan of the design of this grease cap, first you have to get the cap and O ring started in the bore, then you have to make it past the snap ring groove. |
Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback |

Yuck! I can only imagine. As you already know I'm not much of a fan of what I call off brands. lol, But I have been impressed with my old FS 65 Thomas/ Freightshaker. Not sure how the C2 compares. |

I have some c2s that have never had this problem. However on ones that do blow out, they never stay sealed. Just take it easy with the grease gun. |

Out of the 14 C2s we have 8 of them that either have mostly both or one broke! The ones we tried fixing no matter how careful or what we sprayed we cant get them! Good luck!
