Does it look like a gear with a wrench in the middle, if so it is telling you the transmission needs maintenence

no, I have a guide that has the sequence that you move the gearshift in out out of reverse to neutral to drive...I'll post it Monday when i go back to work.

I was formally Baptistbusman. However, I lost my password, and had not updated my email address.

Here is a link to my old posts. http://www.schoolbusfleet.com/forum/search.asp?mode=DoIt&MEMBER_ID=1846

How many miles are on this bus? I’ve found that with my C2’s the green wrench flashes around 30-40K when the filter life reaches 0%. This can be reset using the “shifter” method, but when you start approaching the 60K mark the light starts flashing again when the fluid life reaches 0% and this requires the laptop software to reset the fluid and filter life.

Here’s the steps to reset the filter monitor:
Turn key to run position, do not start bus.
Shift from Neutral to Reverse
Back to Neutral to Reverse
Back to Neutral to Drive
Back to Neutral
Turn Key to off position
Wait a moment and start up bus.
Check Trans light should go out.
