I have a 03 DT466 with a reoccurring problem. It keeps blowing injector o-rings and pushing oil into the fuel. I have been using dorman oring kits, should I use OEM? is there another cause for this to be happening? It has done it three times in the last year. Also the fuel/oil rail on side of head is seeping oil. Could it be mixing fuel and oil there?? any help would greatly be appreciated

i had one do this also. its possible that this is happening inside the rail given that you say its seeping oil. it is also possible that its mixing through the icp though this is also less likely. and yes use oem orings. and as long as you scrub the bores out really well, and lube up the injectors before stabbing them in you should be in good shape. id start with getting the oem oring kit and remove and inspect the injectors and orings. its easy enough to do and if you find a blown oring you can be reasonably assured you found the culprit. then double check by running it from a clean fuel source and checking the condition of the fuel from the return line. good luck.

Two things.

Switch to OEM o ring kit and pay particular attention to proper installation as per the instruction sheet.

Replaced the orings with Oem ring kits. Also installed new ICP sensor and fix the leaking fuel/oil rail by replacing gasket. This was before Thanksgiving. So far so good. The Bus continues to make a sound under acceleration that sounds kinda like a ICP pressure or timing surging. Cant figure that out. No codes.
