We have a demo bus with air disc brakes. I drove it once, I was impressed by the stopping power.

I like the braking system as far as stopping distance and how easy it is to change pads but we have had a lot of issues with calipers locking up and pads wearing to soon. Going back to drum brakes here.

Thanks for the information. Do you live in the snow region of the nation? I just wondering if the chemicals they put on the road is the reason you are having trouble.

I'm in southeastern Va. Not a lot of snow so chemicals on the road are not a problem here.
