I have bus with a DT 466 It's an 2005 model in a IC bus fe 300 . One morning the driver went to start the bus and it started rough . A few days after that it refused to start .So I used my OTC Genesis 3.0 and a whole bunch of codes came up . Hope to get some info re: Code : 4 , 21 , 27 , 100 , 146 , 164 , 244 .
Another note tach didn't move and the oil gauge went to 50 psi . I thought maybe my scanner wasn't right but there is no black button .

Never seen them codes from a IC engine. How did you connect your OTC to the 9 pin connector? IC codes are usually 3 digit. First thing to do is turn on the key to run and listen to the turbo 'Cycling" then turn it to off you should hear the turbo "bounce" verifying that the ECM is getting power. If not you have a power issue. fist place I always check is the ECM power relay and IDM power relay. On the FE they are located behind the drivers side wiper door. Be sure to check the fuses and connections in the battery box. Only had one fuse ever blow in the box and it was an IDM meltdown. The ECM sends the oil pressure signal to the MSM module and it interprets the ECM info and send the signal to the oil pressure gauge telling you what the pressure is so you will usually see oil pressure reading and no tach.

Yes I used the 9 pin . I wonder if maybe my programs on Genysis 3.0 are not meant for something this new ? Thanks

I have to agree with Valleybusman, I have never seen those either. We use MaxxForce software.

Assuming you have cruise on the wheel, I believe it's:

Start bus
Push left switch up and right switch down at same time

It could be reverse...it's been awhile.

An FE would not have steering wheel switches.
Likely will be a diagnostic button under the dash like the 2001 and earlier 3800 conventionals that used the same instrument cluster as your 2005 FE.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
