I have a 2010 CE200 with the I6 that won't start. Had it up working on the A/C system (eventually found the noise suppression switch activated, argh)and checked fuses and breakers. As I pushed a couple of breakers in they made the engine cut out. Didn't think a thing about that until I shut if down and the driver couldn't get it started. Found a 40amp fuse blown on fire wall and replaced it. Also checked large fuse in battery box and the rest of the fuses on the firewall. Any ideas out there? Thanks |

Well along the lines of the noise suppression switch, make sure its in neutral and no one has messed with the back door lock. |
Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback |

No rear door lock, it's in neutral. I can jump power to the signal wire going to the small relay on the side of the starter and it turns over. I put a test light there and I am not getting power there when I turn the start switch to the start position |

If this bus has the touchpad or electronic shifter(no mechanical shift cable) you might want to try disconnecting the batteries for a few minutes. |

Low supply voltage to the ECM? With ServiceMaxx you can see start/crank enable and if the voltage is too low the starter relay won't be triggered by the ECM. If this one's similar to mine, you should have constant power at the relay, and that's triggered by the ECM. |

Second, is that in the electrical access below the driver's door? |

It's on the firewall. Has rather large cables running to it. Usually covered in grease?/anti-corrosion stuff. |

Got it fixed! Starter relay, on firewall, bad. Tested good when I hooked it to a battery and continuity tester but still bad. Lesson learned, never trust any test. lol Must be that it doesn't stay engaged when it's under a load. |
