I know we've had the discussion on here before but I'm wondering if anyone knows where to find a hood for an FS65. I'm about out of options on repairing this one.
Thanks

Can you use an FL-70?

Well, I'm not sure. I've been told in the past that they are different but I'm going to try and locate one to measure.

Boy, he wants a mint out of that doesn't he? I can't tell for sure but from the looks of the painted part below the grille (wave) makes me think it is starting to crack at the hinges already.

We just sold 2. One for 400 and one for 1000 on tender. Unfortunately they came with a running bus attached to them.

LOL!!!! Worth more than that as scrap iron aren't they? It is strange how a bus value drops like a rock.

OK, found a hood. Won't say what I will be giving for it but I will be driving about 4hrs to retrieve it. This man will have three left after mine so let me know and I'll give you the information. Won't be disclosing this until after I have mine in hand. lol

Well, this didn't turn out the way I thought. Turned out the folks where I was going to drive four hours to pick up the hoods had International hoods! Long story short, after waiting two and a half hours at one location I drove and hour and a half to get one at about twice the price as I was expecting. Only one in captivity in my area. lol
