had injector code fixed that problem. still smoking.(Black smoke)replaced air filter,ebp sensor, checked cac and all piping for leaks. im at a stand still. any leads or suggestions would b greatly apprciated!
We just had a 2004 DT466E come back from the shop. Same issue, it had lots of Black smoke for about 3 months. we replaced injectors, filters, pipings, finally found cyl. 1 lifter guids broken and cam wearing. by this point it was too late and needed a cam and rebuild.
I would check the valve lash to see if its out on one of the cylinders.
