We have a 2006 IC with a VT365 that is blowing oil into the cooling system at an extrem rate. The bus runs fine so we replaced the oil cooler and the egr cooler while we were there. still having the same problem. Disconected the air compressor from the cooling and oil system, still the same problem. removed heads sent out for inspection and cup replacement, still the same problem. Has anyone out there seen this problem. If so please give us some insite on which avenue to take next.
We have had fuel going into the oil and it was a cracked head. We have had trans fluid going into the oil and that was Radiator. My first guess on yours might be front cover or gasket where the oil pump is (not an easy job). Just a guess though.
We are getting tired of chasing our tails... We have a long block in stock we are going to try.. and then send out the block and heads to the machine shop for inspection... I will keep you posted on our results.
