subsbd,
Our HDX does not have a "jump seat" in front of the side emergency door, the next seat back has a modesty panel in front of it thus allowing an aisle for the emergency door. This then doesn't allow any students to mess with the door while the bus is moving. |

This might not be the right place to ask but, looking at the driver area of the HDX, isn't that an uncomfortable placement for the parking brake? |

I wouldn't think it is. I've sat in the driver's seat of one of those before and think the dash is pretty well set up. I think I would like having the parking brake where it is. |
Due to the current economic condition, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice. |

Yes our unit is an 84 passenger unit technically but only has seating for 81 because of the missing seat. We did the same thing with our 95 Blue Birds, they're 77 passenger units with seating for 75. |

Yes you guys are correct, it is a 78 passenger length bus with the side emergency exit completley clear so it's missing one seat. The Farmington Unit is set up the same way.
