Engine starts intermittently. Currently when running idles fine, but will stall out when trying to give it gas, at about 1500 to 2000 rpm. Loss of power overall. Have replaced fuel lifter, fuel filters, dropped and cleaned fuel tank, replaced icp sensor. Last time was running, jiggled a wire cluster that leads everywhere, among them the T wiring heat shrinked cluster leading to icp and a solonoid and it cut out. Seems that T is hotter than other wires. Won't start since then. Had diagnostics ran at a shop a while ago and they said it was the hpop and the injectors were fine. It was running at the time when diagnostics were run and we could get it up to 45 or so. Don't have any pressure gauges or ability to check oil pressure or fuel pressure nor scan tool currently. Current codes:
241, 124, 333, 541, 325, 622
Trying to diagnose with no luck This is a 95 so an older bus but only has 25k miles, so it sat for a while. Had running for a few thousand miles since it was sitting for however long.
Any help is appreciated

Ok well taking a stab here the 1st 3 dtcs here are all icp related so your high pressure side there is a issue likely seeing what you said you replaced and what its doing I **suspect ** possible Ipr valve dtc 241 is the self test failure for the ipr valve so a decent indication it is the ipr the other two are basically saying icp pressure is low or out of range 124&333 --one thing I would try is to disconnect the icp connector and try to start the bus even though you replaced it ,,,the ecm uses a default pressure when you do this that bypasses the icp reading if it then runs doing this possible icp issue --one thing too is very basic but make sure it has oil , have seen people say they just filled oil but have a issue where its going into the fuel system because of internal leakage and oil loss is fast and significant in this case where it will cut off when it gets so low |

recheck that wiring, and double check the wiring harnesses at the ECM (or more if this is a 3 box- which I think it is.) Also, double check the fuse in the battery box. I had one last week that the fuse had wiggled loose causing a crank but no start.
Have you cleared the codes and then tried to start? to see what comes back? |
