A lot of our older C2's stereo's are starting to take a dump. Model CQ-CM130U is one in a 2010 model. Thomas wants like $250 for a replacement. What is everyone else doing here? Is there someway to get a cheaper unit that works with the PA?

Is the whole radio broken or just the PA function? If it's just the PA, I've had good luck replacing the PA circuit board (PP103073) Otherwise I just replace them $60 Kenwood or Pioneer units from eBay.

The PA function is messed up as well, the radio's got wet and such through the years and just have blank screens.

So how does the PA work with the replacements you are getting?

If I replace with a aftermarket radio I lose the PA function. Most of my drivers are more concerned with having music playing and a clock to look than the PA. However I have swapped around a few PA headunits between buses to try and keep the drivers happy

We're using the CQ-CM140UA's. Currently costing us $120. We do have to use an adapter harness on some applications.
