OK, wanted to put this out there so all the poor saps like me with old buses might benefit.
I had a 2001 BB conventional with Chevy chassis, come in with the electric crossing arm not deploying. When you activate the red 8-ways it would "bounce". Which is to say it come out about 3 inches and slaped right back in. Checked the base and it is working fine but it's not getting power to the blue signal wire. Anyway, what I found with the help of the guys at central states is the cancel relay was bad. This is behind the light inside the electrical door below the driver window on the outside of the bus.
